Free Learning Groups and Support Services

 

Beginning on August 17, 2020, we will begin offering free learning opportunities and support services for students who need a place to go during the school day.

• This program is being held on site in Arizona Charter Academy’s gym, however the program is being staffed, run and managed by the Northwest Valley YMCA. They are leasing our space.

• All families that expressed interest will be contacted and notified if they have received a spot in the groups.

• If you have received a spot, families will receive information on how to formally enroll in the program with the YMCA.

• The groups will run during the school day Monday 8:00am-2:30pm Tuesday-Thursday 7:30-4:00pm

• Students will be required to wear face coverings all day and follow all social distancing guidelines.

• Students will also be required to bring their technology device and all required school materials to work on their distance learning throughout the day.

• There will not be any additional services available outside of these times at ACA. If families need care beyond these scheduled times, they are welcome to enroll separately with the YMCA’s before and aftercare programs that are held offsite at the YMCA in El Mirage.

• Please be advised that free learning groups and support services may be suspended or terminated if ACA or the Arizona Department of Health Services advises closing the premises for public health reasons or in the best interests of the staff and students.
