Back in October of 2014, Arizona Charter Academy conducted a Read-a-Thon to contribute books for schools in remote and disadvantaged regions of the world. The drive was coordinated through international charity, Room-To-Read, who recently reached out to ACA to say thanks for the donation. They informed us that our donation provided 206 books for a new school that was just built in Nepal, and that the children absolutely love their new books!

Our children can be proud of the work they did to benefit a school on the other side of the globe. Our hearts go out to the children of Nepal as they recover from devastating earthquakes, and we’re glad that the generosity and thoughtfulness of our students extends far beyond themselves and their own community.
