This past weekend a number of our ACA students entered into the El Mirage Fiesta de la Gente Art Contest.
The directions were to create a painting celebrating the history and culture of El Mirage. It was open to both youth and adults.
ACA had winners in EVERY category even our very own Mr. Moreno (Art Teacher) received awards!
K-6 category
1st place Amanda Duran (4th grade)
2nd place Elijah Dobbs (3rd grade) and E'yan Minor (1st grade)
3rd place Ryan Minor (6th grade)
7-8 category
2nd place Julia Esquer (7th grade)
3rd place Jasmine Chan (7th grade)
Adult category

Winners were announced the evening of the Fiesta de la Gente on Friday September 28th.
