On Monday December 18th an organization called Smiles from Caleb came on campus and had a toy for every single student Kindergarten through 2nd grades. The students were told they could pick any toy they wanted plus 1 stuffed animal!
They were shocked and ecstatic! Students were able to browse the awesome brand new toys and take their pick. Some picked barbies and others picked board games. But they all walked home with shiny new toys!
The organization was created when a family lost their son Caleb in May 2013 they said "Our goal is to make an impact on the world the way our son Caleb impacted us, and that's one smile at a time".
