ELA, Math, and Humanities will be standards-based grading. The remaining classes will follow the traditional A-F grading system. These classes are the following: Social Studies, Science, Art, BizTown, Finance Park, and Electives.

What is Standards Based Grading?

Standards-based grading is a system that measures how well a student is mastering specific skills or concepts—called standards.

Instead of a single letter grade (like A, B, C), your child will receive feedback on how well they understand each specific skill. This gives you a clearer picture of your child’s strengths and areas that need support.

1. To check standards grades, locate the “Standards Grades” tab under the “Grades and Attendance” page.

2. The drop-down menu will reveal the standards that have been taught in each class and how the student performed on those standards.
